About us
The first John Olivers salon was opened in Norfolk in the mid sixties. Since then the Group has grown to include 10 salons in Norfolk and Suffolk with all partners actively involved in the day to day business of hairdressing.
The Group's Art Team was created in the 70's and, ever since the Hairdresser's Journal published their first picture in 1973, there has been enormous photographic involvement in the trade press, top consumer magazines and newspapers both in the UK and overseas.
In 1975 the Group formed the JO Academy confirming their commitment to their own people and future development.
Sound investment in management, training, technology and, most importantly, people led to the Group's involvement in the 'Investors in People' project in 1994.
Commitment to hairdressing standards and great service has earned the John Olivers group many awards including:

We believe that our business is a combination of people and image. Our customers are discerning and mutual respect between client and stylist is very important. Our stylists are professionals who interpret each client's needs to create a truly individual look. All employees at John Olivers are registered with the Hairdressing Council.
Our work doesn't finish when you leave our salons. Home care is equally important and we are discerning in the products we use and recommend. We also support and encourage most leading manufacturers in terms of education programmes and circulation of information. We encourage all our clients to exploit our expertise and knowledge in this area.
John Olivers is committed to quality of training, staff, hairdressing and service. We never stop listening to what clients want from us and are not frightened to change. We are passionate about hair.
